E4000 series are highly sophisticated Electromagnetic Flow Transmitter Boards. Featuring a precise sensing mechanism,it is a key component of flow meters. With corresponding sensors, it can accurately measure the flow of various fluid media.
E4000 series offer flexible output options including 4 - 20mA current output and digital communication protocols such as HART and MODBUS, facilitating seamless connection to control and monitoring systems.
With user-friendly interface, it allows for convenient configuration and real-time monitoring of flow parameters. The transmitter boards are designed to withstand harsh industrial conditions, thanks to its robust construction and advanced anti-interference technology. It also incorporates functions like data backup and recovery, ensuring the integrity of measurement data.

  • Low-frequency square wave excitation, with excitation frequencies of 1/10 of the power frequency, 1/12 of the power frequency, and 1/16 of the power frequency.
  • Excitation current: 187.5 mA.
  • Empty pipe detection function without the need for additional electrodes.
  • Flow velocity measurement range: 0.1 – 15 meters per second. Flow velocity resolution: 1 millimeter per second.
  • AC linear power supply, applicable voltage range: 85 – 305 VAC.
  • DC power supply: 18 – 30 VDC.
  • Communication functions: Supports RS232/RS485 communication based on the MODBUS RTU protocol. Optionally, HART communication is available.
  • Simultaneously supports Chinese and English display modes.
  • Analog current output options include 4 – 20 mA, 4 – 12 – 20 mA, and 0 – 10 mA (customization required).
  • Configurable active or passive (customization required) frequency output.
  • Configurable active or passive (customization required) equivalent pulse output.
  • Equipped with three totalizers that can record the forward total amount, reverse total amount, and difference total amount respectively.

  • Alarm function: Supports alarms for excitation, empty pipe, upper and lower limits, and excitation drive.
  • Small flow linear correction function: Supports 4-point linear correction for small flow.
  • Data backup and recovery: Allows for backup and recovery of the original information from the manufacturer.

Load Resistance:

When the output is 0 – 10 mA, the load resistance is 0 – 1200 Ω.

When the output is 4 – 12 – 20 mA, the load resistance is 0 – 600 Ω.

Output Pulse Width: The maximum is 50 ms. It will automatically convert to a square wave at high frequencies.

Sensor matching requirements

 

  • Sensor matching requirements:

Users can select different excitation currents by changing the resistance value of the precision resistor in the excitation part. The default excitation current at the factory is 187.5 mA. If a 125 mA current is required, the surface – mount resistor R21 on the power supply board can be removed.

  • Resistance of the sensor excitation coil:

For an excitation current of 187.5 mA: 20 – 80 Ω;

For an excitation current of 125 mA: 80 – 120 Ω.
